People flew in from all over the States to witness the unveiling of Sebastian Krüger's "Mr. R&F'n'R". With over 70 collectors present, Sebastian signed copies of his new art book "Faces" and autographed artworks. The gallery has the insider information on the inspiration for all new Kruger paintings and is able to share this information for visiting clients. The exhibit will be up until November 30th.

London Show Review

Krüger's 'Art Tour' Spring 2009 commenced in London where collectors and fans had the chance to see many new works from Sebastian Krüger at The Gallery on Cork Street. Krüger arrived in London to attend the private viewing.

Over 70 art collectors from the UK, Belgium and Germany attended this show in the heart of London.
19 new works were offered for the first time. A total of 33 Original Krüger works were on display. Krüger signed and personalized many copies of his new book 'FACES' .

A special thank you to Jonathan, Selina and his team for the lovely evening.

The next show of Sebastian Krüger's UK 'Art Tour' will be in Plymouth and then Edinburgh.

Dates and details of these two future shows will be announced soon.

There will be a Krüger exhibition on June 27th and 28th at Gallery 319 in Santa Monica, California. Krüger will exhibit new works and new limited edition prints.

Here Sebastian Krüger's new book "FACES" will make it's public US debut. Krüger will fly in from Germany to attend the two night event; the private collectors' night on the 27th and the public viewing on the 28th. The artist will be available throughout both showings to sign his new book.

Krüger in London (Gallery 27): REVIEW

Krüger flew into London to attend the private viewing. In advance both 'The Independent' and "Sunday Times" published an interview with Krüger.

Over 70 art collectors from the UK attended the show in the heart of London.
14 new paintings and three painted guitars were offered for the first time.
Krüger signed and personalized his new 2008 art calendars together with his friend Ronnie Wood, who appeared as a special guest.

Krüger Workshop 2007, Highlights

The 3rd Krüger Professional Artists' Workshop was organized by Krüger's art management in one of Germany's most beautiful tourism areas, St. Goar in the Rheinland.

Krüger gave an intensive review on the past year, presenting new art projects, new paintings and drawings.
The German art brush producer 'DaVinci' provided useful information about their acrylic brushes incl. test kits. Company Schmincke provided acrylic paint for all participants.

During the 5 days seminar all participants worked on 3 main themes.

Legend of Nibelungen (Siegfried)

A unique smiling Ludwig van Beethoven done on two canvases emerged from Krüger's 4 hour live painting demonstration. The group of artists took side trips visiting the town of Boppard and the House of German History in Bonn.

A special thanks for the great hospitality of the hotel Schloss Rheinfels staff in St. Goar.

Santa Monica Show: REVIEW

A crowd of people came to see Krueger's 2nd show at gallery 319.
14 original paintings, new limited edition releases and early sketches
from the 1990's were exhibited.
In addition, 2 brand new pencil drawings from November 2006 of
Tom Petty and Keith Richards made their debut.

Santa Monica Show: November 16th 2006

Krüger's recent United States debut was in March 2006 at Gallery 319.

Now on November 16th from 7:00 - 9:00 PM (Pacific Time) the German

born Artist will exhibit new works and new limited prints in a second show. The exhibition will include brand new paintings making their public debut.

Krüger will fly in from Germany to give commentaries and inside information on his different artworks. He will also be available to personalize limited edition prints.

Krüger in Scottsdale: REVIEW

Krüger flew into Phoenix to attend the Scottsdale opening.
Once in Arizona, Krüger gave two separate live TV interviews for
local television stations; As well as a newspaper interview which
later became a full page spread in the 'Arizona Republic'.

The Scottsdale Show was attended by over 100 art collectors.
Here the limited edition of Mick Jagger 'Big Mick' was offered
for the first time.
Krüger signed and personalized many prints, books and calendars
throughout the evening.

Thank you to everyone for such a lovely night, with special thanks to
Michael, Donna and the gallery staff for making things perfect.

Krüger Workshop 2006, Highlights

A group of 18 diverse artists joined the 2nd Krüger Professional Artists' Workshop held in one of Germany's most beautiful tourism areas, Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Krüger showed the attendees a number of unpublished works and new paintings, and talked about his upcoming projects.

'DaVinci', the art brush producers, were in attendance to provide useful information about their acrylic brushes.
During the 5 days seminar all participants worked on 3 main themes.

"Wolpertinger" (a fable animal)

In a 3 hour live presentation Krüger painted an image of the famous German composer, Richard Wagner. The group of artists took side trips visiting the castles of King Ludwig II. "Linderhof" Castle and "Neuschwanstein" or "Cinderella's Castle".

A special thanks for the great hospitality of the hotel Mercure staff in Partenkirchen.

Krüger Workshop 16. - 21. October 2006

This year's Krüger artist workshop will take place at the Mercure Hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen/Germany.

The 18 available spaces offered for Krüger's unique workshop was sold out very quickly. The workshop is strictly for professional and semi professional artists. Artists from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, England, Germany, Norway, and the United States will all meet on the 16th to 21st of October to work under the guidance and supervision of Sebastian Krüger. The main focus of the workshop will be on the drawing of preparatory sketches and the use of acrylic paint. Krüger will give the participants live demonstrations of his painting technique. An update on this workshop (including photos) will follow soon on this Blog.

New York City Show: REVIEW

Krüger's 'Art Tour' Fall 2006 was continued in NYC where fans had the chance to see many completely different works than in Boston. Two large works had been finished just days before they needed to be shipped from Kruger's studio (in Germany) to New York. These two paintings of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards had never been seen before, and it was no surprise that they had been sold before the show had officially begun.
During the show, the gallery space was packed with people. Over 200 Krüger aficionados from all over the country had come to meet with Sebastian and see his latest creations. During the show Krüger spoke with many people and happily answered questions about his work and career. Krüger autographed several of his books and also some catalogues upon request.

Gallery Newbury Fine Arts, 21st of September 2006

About 150 Kruger Fans, some of them celebrities, were present at the Boston Show. Among them Sebastian's long time friend Ronnie Wood along with Bernard Fowler, Blondie Chapman and Tim Reese were some of the celebrity sightings at Kruger's first ever solo show in Boston. Kruger fans and admirers from as far as Canada, Virginia and Arizona found their long way to the East Coast to meet with Sebastian and see his latest works in person. A special thank you goes to the gallery staff for providing plenty of 'feel good' New England hospitality.

At Pop International Galleries more than 50 original Krüger works will be
on display. These include 10 sketch drawings and a mixed collection of
paintings both on board and on canvas. A full selection of Krüger limited edition prints will also be on display. Almost all of the unsold Krüger paintings created in 2005 and 2006 will be shown. Including some very
large paintings on canvas. Original paintings of stars like Marilyn Monroe,

Gronau Show rock'n'pop museum:

Gronau Show: 2 July - 3 December

In conjunction with the current Rolling Stones tour, which passes through
Germany in July 2006, the rock'n'pop museum in Gronau, Germany will host an art exhibition featuring the art of the Rolling Stones. The title of the show is 'Just Wanna See His Face - The Faces of the Rolling Stones'. The show opens on Sunday the 2nd of July and continues until the 3rd of December 2006.

The exhibition features 46 large format prints of well known 'Stones' images by Sebastian Krüger.
